Alight is a smartphone application which allows users to keep/retrieve their creative ideas in accordance with locative information. I was in charge of UI design and attempted to practice user-centred design process. I also challenged to apply the theory concluded in my thesis to this design. The dissertation about an iPhone sketching application called "Brushes", its UI, UX design and how it affects to the way artists work. The study revealed that smartphone can offer "anytime", "anywhere", painting experience with some novelty of new media, yet there is a significant key principle to achieve that in terms of UI design.
